Brixology
In Brixology, students will use unique Mad Science designed LEGO® kits to build a different engineering-themed project in every class! They will use critical thinking, cooperation, and creative problem-solving to test and improve your creations! Each class will revolve around a different engineering theme- including mechanical, structural, and nautical engineering.

Ready, STEM, Go! (Available September - December)
Kids find out how science is at work in the world around them!
They learn about the animal kingdom, both on land and under the sea. They make mixtures and explore the science of motion and energy. They also discover the technology that powers our modern world and keeps us connected.
FAQ
Who are your instructors?
We recruit individuals who have experience in classrooms or with groups of elementary aged children. All our instructors must pass a series of state and national criminal background checks, and be cleared through our training process. Instructors are assigned for the entire length of the program.
+When do I pay?
Payment is required at the time of registration. Mad Science accepts checks or credit cards (over the phone, on the registration form or through our on-line registration system).
+What is your class cancellation policy?
Classes must have at least 10 students registered for the program to run. If we do not reach the minimum number of students, you will be notified via email and your money will be refunded. For inclement weather, we run at the school's discretion and will notify you about make up days.
+What is your refund policy?
A refund will be made to any parent who withdraws a child prior to the second week of the program. Withdrawal after the second week is not subject to a refund. Refunds will not be issued for classes missed by the child.
+Why am I on a waitlist?
Our classroom min is 10 students and our max is 20 students. Once we reach 20 students, the next 9 students go on a waitlist. Once the waitlist has 10 students, we may be able to open a second class. You will be notified via email to complete registration when a spot becomes available.
+Can I register for the program, even if the deadline has passed?
Sure, as long as there is space available. Please call us at (412) 779-0123 to check for availability and to complete the registration process over the phone.

Here's what parents have to say about our after-school programs!
My son has attended the Mad Science after-school programs every year starting from Kindergarten! We love how excited he has been after each class to tell us about the cool things his Mad Scientist did! We can't wait to do it again this year!

Our son loves science! I am a high school science teacher and love that you give these opportunities for young kids! :)

When I pick up my son from school on Fridays, his energy is different from any other day. Instead of the usual response to my questioning of his day's experience - "it was fine"- I hear an enthusiastic stream of science facts and stories of experiments. When we get home, he demonstrates what he's done with the kits Mad Science gives him to take home. Thank You Mad Science!!
