Outer Space Party
Let your child & their friends explore the excitement of outer space with this party! The kids will travel off planet and see what life would be like in the vacuum of space! They will also explore some amazing glowing paper and launch off rockets! They'll even assist in the creation of a dry ice comet and experience some super cool substances that are out of this world!
Wizard Party
Take a class at Mad Science's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! This party blurs the line between Science and Magic with lessons on levitation, potions, and electrifying magic wands. Learn how to create never-ending bubbles, dragon's toothpaste, and all purpose fizz in "Potions 101," and even catch and destroy "He who must not be named" with a bit of Science!
*NEW* Island Adventure
"Island Science Adventure" Party
Embark on a magical island journey with Mad Science! Dive into hands-on experiments that explore the wonders of volcanos, ocean waves, and the mysteries of shape-shifting shadows. Children will create erupting lava flows, harness the power of waves, and unlock the secrets of bioluminescent "island magic" in a science celebration as vibrant as the tropics!
Bubble-ology Party
Perfect for bubbly little ones! A big favorite with the younger crowd, this party features all kinds of bubbles, bubble making equipment, and dry ice. Bubbling potions, the Mad Science shower, color changing liquids, bubble machines, hands-on Kubic Bubbles, and bubbles larger than a toddler!
Winter Wonderlab Party
Explore some science that’s so cool it’s frozen! In this party, we’ll melt a Styrofoam snowman, create a science snow globe, figure out what reindeer drink, and experience some frozen winds of the north! Finally, we’ll count down and ignite some amazing in-doors New Year’s Eve fireworks. Available from November-February.

FAQ
What do kids do at a Mad Science birthday party?
Your Mad Scientist will engage children with amazing science demonstrations that are conducted with the help of your birthday child and guests. A fun, educational 30-minute show is followed by a hands-on science experiment of your choosing. At the lab, you'll also have time to explore our lab space, as well as time to enjoy cake or other treats.
+Do you have a party facility?
Yes! We are located at 1248 Evergreen Ave in Millvale. Our party facility includes awesome Science-themed toys, a show area, tables and chairs for up to 50 people, a full kitchen, and even a popcorn machine! Full images are available on our Google and Facebook pages.
+Do I need to provide anything for a party at my location?
We need a folding table or card table so the Mad Scientist can setup the equipment. We will also need access to water for set-up and clean-up and access to electricity. Please let us know if your party location does not have either of these.
+Do I need to provide anything for a party at The Mad Science Lab?
Bring the cake and we'll provide the rest! We provide a fun science show, exciting stations to explore, a hands-on experiment of your choosing, popcorn, lemonade, and all the paper products you may need. We also have a bright felt reusable HAPPY BIRTHDAY banner with a chalkboard underneath where we'll write the birthday child's name.
+How far in advance do I need to book my party?
Our party schedule fills up quickly. We suggest you book well in advance to get the date and time you want. Generally, at least 6-8 weeks in advance is recommended. To book, please use the "Request a Party" button at the top or bottom of the page.
+When do I pay?
We require a $100 deposit to book your party. At the end of your party, you will pay the Mad Scientist for the remaining balance of the party. You can pay with cash, check, or provide authorization to charge the credit card we have on file.
+Once I have scheduled my party, can I make changes to it later?
Any changes to your party must be scheduled at least seven days before your party.
+What is your policy on tipping?
If you think your Mad Scientist did a great job, a tip is very much appreciated!
