Our Half-Day Camp Themes
Children overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors, and most importantly, their minds. With a bit of ingenuity, they create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks, and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs.
Secret Agent Lab
This program features fun-filled, hands-on, secret agent-themed science activities that allow kids to play detective, explore forensic science, sharpen their surveillance skills, and crack encrypted messages. Kids become super sleuths!
NASA Journey into Outer Space
Set your future space explorers on a trajectory from our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system! This hands-on program brings them closer to the stars, planets, comets, and more. They learn about living in space, getting away from gravity, looking for space phenomena, and they participate in a rocket launch!
Playing as a robot, your task is to get through each level, collecting stars or destroying rubies by creating a sequence starting with directional arrows, brackets and a hammer. As you advance, you'll have more obstacles in your way and get more tools to be able to make your way around more complex levels. You can even create your own level!
Red Hot Robots
Children learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool red-hot robots. They discover the science of circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. They build their very own working robot to take home with them!
Discover cool chemical reactions, and get right down to the microscopic level to discover the stuff we're all made of—cells! Venture inward on a journey down the “Organ Trail!" Create an organ apron and a model lung to take home. Finish the week with an introduction to some of the gross body chemistry we all need, including burping, farting, spit and why we need mucus - make your own brain goo!
Fizz Bang Boom
Become a Mad Scientist as you combine concoctions using real lab equipment! Manipulate matter, recognize reactions, and experience explosions!
Little Green Thumbs (Preschool)
This five-session preschool camp offers young children (ages 3-5) an exciting introduction to basic environmental science. With each session, children enrich their understanding of how living things grow and how they interact with the environment around them, through different aspects of the garden.
Using LEGO® bricks, kids build a different engineering-themed project in each class. They explore different engineering fields, including mechanical, structural, aerospace, nautical, and bioengineering. They use critical thinking, and creative problem-solving to test and improve their creations.
